Morarjee Textiles Ltd. believes in fostering strong relationships with employees. To ensure we uphold these relationships, we go well beyond the confines of the work space, by practicing an open interaction policy with the family members of Morarjee Textiles Technicians.

Morarjee Textiles has always been keen on fostering values of healthy competition, harmony and co-operation, all in order to instill a sense of team spirit among employees. To that end, the company conducted its annual sports day event in December each year, with interdepartmental competitions like cricket, volleyball, chess and carom. These competitions are inaugurated by each department’s respective head of department. Everyone comes forward to cheer for and support their friends and colleagues.

To celebrate the achievements of its employees each year, Morarjee Textiles organizes its Annual Day Function in the first month of each year. The event is inaugurated by the chairperson, followed by festivities which are attended by all employees. These festivities include a host of cultural performances like solo singing acts, group performances etc. to keep the audiences entertained.

As women play an increasingly important role at the workplace, recognizing their contribution makes for a happier working environment. This is done on International Women’s Day celebrated on March 8th of every year. On this day Morarjee Textiles organizes motivational training programs and games.

The true wealth of life is good health, which can be obtained through numerous ways like regular exercise, balanced food, positive thoughts, good habits, cleanliness and fresh environment. We at Morarjee Textiles have always cared for our employee’s health. We regularly organize health check camps, eye check up camps, Cancer awareness training, Yoga Awareness session etc.

It is vital to be fully equipped to face any crisis and emergency. In order to train employees In fighting fire and to make them well aware and responsive during fire emergencies, Morarjee Textiles hold a training session each year on Fire Fighting and a Mock Drill very quarter. This is conducted by a fire team from MIDC.

Saving lives is one of the finest gestures one can make towards humanity; and what better way to do it than blood donation. Morarjee Textiles organized a Blood Donation Camp with the help of Dr. Hedgewar Blood Bank, Nagpur. All the HODs encouraged their colleagues to make the event successful.

All the donors were given a certificate, donor card and token gift in appreciation for donating blood. Morarjee Textiles hopes to make this a recurring event and that the blood donation camp will go a long way in helping its employees as well as others during their times of need.

Holi heralds the arrival of spring after winter. It signifies the victory of good over evil and is celebrated as a day of spreading happiness and love. The festival is also celebrated as thanksgiving for good harvest. Morarjee Textiles also celebrates the Holi festival to spread the joy and happiness.

Morarjee Textiles celebrates World Environment Week from June 5th to June 11th of every year, and organize various competitions like rangoli, poster and essay competitions to spread awareness about health, safety and environment protection. At the end of the Environment Week, when monsoon arrived, a tree plantation program organizes through the employees’ active participation.

Ganesha Utsav is an extremely auspicious occasion for Hindus. Every year, Ganesha Utsav celebrates at Morarjee Textiles in the month of September, to receive the blessings of Lord Ganesha. The main themes of the Ganesha Utsav celebration this year were ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’, ‘Morarjee Textiles Swacchata Abhiyan’, ‘Anti-tobacco’ and ‘Tree Plantation’, which helped create awareness about these topics among employees. All the employees participate in the celebrations with a lot of enthusiasm and happiness.

With the view of making Morarjee Textiles ‘A Great Place to Work’, a team was formed to oversee the housekeeping of all the premises of Morarjee Textiles's plant areas in Units 1, 2 and 3. The team supervises the housekeeping every month and presents the rolling trophy to the winning unit. They also share feedback on areas of improvement with each of the unit heads.
